Erica Barnett

SVP, Senior Credit Officer

Erica is the Senior Credit Officer at Flatirons Bank, leading the credit and loan administration team while guiding the bank’s credit philosophy. She started at the bank in 2010 as a portfolio manager focused on credit and lending and has worked her way up to her current position through success and hard work. She particularly enjoys the collaborative problem-solving and solutions-oriented aspect of her role. With almost 25 years of experience in banking, Erica is a member of the Leadership Team and serves as the Chair of the Loan Committee, involved in making quick and efficient loan decisions for our clients. As a Boulder native, Erica is proud to serve as Treasurer for both the Downtown Boulder BID Board of Directors and the Arete HOA Board of Directors.

Erica received a degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to joining Flatirons Bank, she worked at another financial institution in several different departments, which allowed her to develop the unique combination of skills required to be successful in her current position.

When not at Flatirons Bank, Erica enjoys reading, relaxing, and enjoying time with her husband, daughter, and family. She is an avid reader, likes paddle boarding, and traveling. In addition, she serves on several local boards, including the Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) Board.
